About

Hi, I’m Christina and I rock the suburbs of Dallas with my parents, Barbara and Chuck, and my brother – Jack, born in June 1993. I am partway through 17, for the first time. I like purple, photography, pink, peas, and Pride & Prejudice. In addition, for things that don’t start with a ‘P’, I like books, rescued dogs, Coca-Cola, ballet flats, rain, history, urban affairs, journalism, FanFiction, and television. I dislike summer – you can always put more clothes on but you can’t take more off – and most breakfast foods – French toast, Swedish pancakes, and cereal. This ends the centerfold portion of the introduction.

When I was a little kid, I wanted to be a marine biologist all the way up until I actually took science in sixth grade and realized that I wouldn’t spend my days playing with the dolphins and orcas. Then I wanted to be a history teacher but eight grade “cured” me of that dream after I saw how horrible Miss. Bottom {yes, her name was Miss. Bottom} was treated to teach me and my classmates U.S. History and the peanuts she was payed. Sophomore year, I wanted to be a journalist but thanks to my summer internship at The Dallas Morning News, I’ve pretty much decided that career isn’t for me. Right now, I want to be an urban planner.

This year is my final year of {the hell hole that is} high school. I once got a B in Physics. That has nothing to do with anything else, but I am very proud of it so I drop it in wherever I can. To date, I have taken three AP classes and five Pre-AP classes. Next year, I’m taking five AP classes. And it goes without saying that I have a tendency to get in over my head.

The rest is around here somewhere, so feel free to look around. Just raise your hand if you have any questions, and I’ll call on you as soon as I finish my Coca-Cola.
